OCTOBER 2016 UPDATE

The scaffold is now down from around the four buildings in stage one and work on the interior apartment fitouts and the building landscaping is nearing completion.

This is an exciting time as we get closer to stage one settlement and for our first residents to spend their first Christmas in their new home at Thornton.

The St Hilliers construction team have now been on-site for 12-months. Take a look at the video of the concrete pour of stage two from Thornton’s onsite drone.

AUGUST 2016 UPDATE

The transformation of the city of Penrith is taking shape as more of Thornton starts to come out of the ground.

Works and construction is well underway on Stage Two. The three buildings are due for completion in July 2017.

MAY 2016 UPDATE

The transformation of Penrith is well and truly underway, with the construction of Thornton’s Stage One apartments now only months away from completion.

St Hilliers’ Executive Chairman, Tim Casey said Stage One is on track for first the Thornton residents to move in during Spring 2016.

“We are tracking ahead of schedule and will commence works on our current sales release, Sheffield before the end of the year,” commented Mr Casey.

Deborah Landes Executive Director, First Point Projects said there is a huge volume of interest in Sheffield.

“Sheffield is getting close to being sold out.” said Ms Landes, “There is limited amount of apartments remaining in Sheffield at Thornton and we see this as an opportunity not to be missed.”

Stage Two, which sold out in August 2015, is expected to be completed by mid-2017.

FEBRUARY 2016 UPDATE

Just six months ago we turned the soil at Thornton – now the first foundations are in place. Concrete has been poured for Stage One and the ground works have commenced at Stage Two.

St Hilliers’ Executive Chairman, Tim Casey said, “Construction of Thornton is in full swing, with major in-ground works now completed and structural works underway.”

“Completion of the major in-ground works is always a key milestone to achieve, and construction is tracking to schedule,” Mr Casey said.

Stage One is expected to be completed by late-2016 and Stage Two by mid-2017.
