Last month, local fire and rescue officers from Fire Rescue NSW performed on mock rescue at the Thornton apartment precinct.
The crews from metro west held a crane rescue from the ground up as a training exercise- a first of its kind for the region. This was a great opportunity for the St Hilliers construction team to observe the local Fire Safety and Rescue team in action as Thornton leads the rise and rise of apartment living in Penrith city.
