A new café in the Thornton precinct is due to open in September, on the ground floor of the Quest serviced apartment building, right next to Penrith Station.
The café’s name, Platform T8, is a nod to its location and chef/owner, Tatum McManus.
Platform T8 will offer coffee from local business Underground Coffee Roasters along with a range of teas and the newly popular turmeric Latte.
“We’ll have freshly squeezed juices and a range of all-day breakfast options,” Tatum said.
Platform T8’s menu will also feature delicious options suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those who are Gluten Free.
Tatum grew up in St Clair and has worked in hospitality for 18 years.
“I’m looking forward to being part of the community at Thornton,” she said.
Platform T8 is located at 83 Lord Sheffield Circuit, Penrith will open seven days:
5am-3pm Monday to Friday
7.30am-3pm Saturday and Sunday.
