With this in mind, Thornton Property Realtors, Morton, now host mid monthly community barbeques at The Oval, Smith’s Paddock.
Project Manager Nick Frankel said the first gathering was well attended and enjoyed by all.
“There’s a building sense of community spirit at Thornton and we’re keen to do what we can to foster the friendly vibe in this new neighbourhood,” he said.
At a family friendly time, and with vegetarian and vegan options also on the menu, it really is a chance for everyone to get together and share a meal.
The next barbeque will be held at The Oval from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Friday, 15 June.
