Carra Scevola moved into an apartment in 101 Lord Sheffield Circuit of the Thornton retail and residential apartment precinct in July.

“The apartment is really beautiful and my experience with Morton’s, the rental agent, has been fantastic,” she said.

Carra, who grew up in the Fairfield area and more recently lived in Cranebrook, said her initial concerns about renting in an apartment building had been quickly swept away.

“I thought there’d be a lot of noise from neighbours living in this kind of complex, but it’s not like that at all,” she said.

But the peace and quiet of her new home is just the icing on the cake for Carra who, since moving to Thornton, is able to walk to work.

“I’m loving the convenience!” she said. “I work just the other side of the train station, so Thornton is perfect for me.”

And, while she enjoys having easy access to nearby shops and cafés, Carra is also looking eagerly to the future and the supermarket, retail stores and medical centre planned for the precinct.

“It will be great to have all that on my doorstep,” she said.
