Planned upgrades to roads in and around Penrith will make it even easier to get to and from Thornton.
With the Western Sydney Airport set to open in 2026, the State and Federal governments are working hard to improve supporting infrastructure.
Among the routes to receive funding over the coming year are Mulgoa Road and Jane Street and the Northern Road.
Plans for major link roads, including the M12 which will link to the M7 and the future airport, will further improve travel time and options for residents.
